Project: Day in the Life

Today is 09.18.2026, and I have had this idea stuck in my head. I don’t have the full plan in my head yet but I have the concept that I want to attempt. What I want to do is this short film where we follow this one character. I’ve been getting a lot of inspiration videos, where it is very cinematic. Which is something that I find a huge interest in and have wanted to film myself.

Some of the things that I need to do first is find the right person to cast. It’s incredibly hard doing that because you can’t always find people with full commitment towards something that they won’t see the results in the future. Which is something I’ve had to deal with in a previous project that I’ve worked on before. The other issue was that the people were not the most ideal people for the characters in my story. This is something that I want to focus on the most, I want to be able to get the most ideal actors for my films rather than just getting last second people just to do it.

I’ve realized that most of my projects in the past have failed due to the last second decisions. So moving on from now, I will be reaching out and sending follow ups to the most ideal people in my film ideas. I cannot afford to continue making films that end up not working because of outside causes, because that will undermine my work as a Film Maker.
